Salmonberry Corridor Atlas and Construction Concepts

March 13, 2014

At the February 2014 public meetings, the planning team presented some draft Salmonberry Corridor Atlas pages and draft Construction Concepts that are being considered.  The team stated that we would have these ready for review on the blog and have attached them below.

Salmonberry Corridor Atlas – March 2014

Salmonberry – Draft Trail Construction Options

These documents will be revised over the next few months based off of additional information that we gather through additional site visits and stakeholder interviews.  The next public meeting will focused on these two documents and the alternatives identified.

Please review these and provide any feedback to the planning team.

I found this to be completely helpful I’m very interested in that part of our state becoming a multi use recreational area. As far as people’s worries about crime vandalism f I have a feeling that the new trail will not attract those sort of people much. I know that I myself will be a person that has eyes and ears cell phone to report anything out about the norm. I’m sure it will end up being just like anything there will be a few bad apples in the bunch now And then. The majority of trail users will be like me just out to enjoy and help out when needed. Looking at all of the tiles of the complete route it is going to be a major construction project. I have not heard anyone mention the prospect of volunteers.
