    It is would be a unique path for non-motorize transportation between the coast and the Metro area. The Oregon coast is the number one bicycle route in Oregon and one of the biggest bicycle routes in the country. People come from around the world to ride it. This would give a wonderful way to get to the coast from the Willamette Valley. It would also be an important connection to many other existing and planned multi-use paths.

    Paving a trail along the Salmonberry would be the ruination of the place. The best way to mess a place up is to publicize it and make it accessible to the masses. There is currently nothing stopping anyone from walking the tracks as they are. Please just leave it be.
